Where will TMG be December 2017?

For anyone who doesn’t know, The Marketing Geeks are HUGE believers in face to face networking, so we get out and about and try to meet as many people as possible during the working week.

Lots of the events are free or cost the same as a cup of coffee or tea, and the connections you can make can be invaluable!

December is a crazy busy month so we’ll be calming down on the networking scene until the new year when we launch our own event in Dundee

So, if you would like to come along to any and either meet us there or arrange a one-2-one before or after the events we’d love to meet you!

For those of you who we wont get to see in December, have a great holiday season and we look forward to catching up in the new year

Traditional Marketing

Back in the dark ages before Social media and online influence was so monumental, there was what is now lovingly referred to as “Traditional Marketing”

While there is an assumption that everything is now online, traditional marketing is still very much alive and thriving and many are still relevant to a number of industries and professions, creating a more personalized approach.

So lets have a look at your current marketing strategy and see if there are some traditional methods that could make you stand out from the crowd

Team Building

Whether you are a small team who just want to have a rewarding day out or a large companies wanting to bring departments closer and create a more productive workplace we have the connections to build a team building day for you, either in house or an away day to get ou of the office for a change of scenery.

Get in touch to discuss your needs and we can put together the perfect package for you.

Seminars

Running seminars on topics in your area of expertise can make you stand out as an authority in your profession and show that you are keen to engage with your clients and customers and answer their questions and concerns.

In order to get a good audience to your event you will need to plan it around both your topic and your attendees. TMG are happy to arrange events of your behalf or take care of the promotion in order to put you in front of the best possible audience.

As well as seminar planning you may also want to think about turning any topics of interest into webinars as well in order to maximize your reach.

Webinars

Webinars (or web seminars) are becoming increasingly popular as a method of communicating with your audience by presenting online a talk or lecture, course or even just an introductory workshop.

They can be set up online to be run live or with recorded content so you can reach your customers at a time that is convenient for them from any device.

Speed Networking

For many hardcore networkers, speed networking goes against the grain of getting to know the person, not just their profession, but for those new to networking or for those who find themselves speaking to the same people at each event it can be a great way to find out more about everyone in the room so that you can use your 121 time more effectively.

Usually split into two groups there will be ones who stay stationary and others who move around the room giving 1-3 minutes to introduce yourself and then the same amount of time to the other person to do the same.

Great for large groups who want to work the room effectively.

Trade Shows

A Trade show, Fair or Expo can offer fantastic opportunites to find others who are working in your industry and make valuable business connections.

If your business and others in your industry would benefit from the exposure a trade show could bring, organizing such an event can propel you as an authority in the industry and give you and others a stage on which to showcase latest trends and activity

Networking

If you want to improve your business reach, organizing a networking event can be just the ticket that can get you in front of potential clients and customers.

Networking can range from coffee mornings to drinks events and The Marketing Geeks are just the people to tailor the event to suit both your and your clients needs.

Event Planning and Management

The Marketing Geeks have organised a number of events ranging from simple get-together and informal seminars to full trade shows and understand that each business is different so can tailor events to suit your and your clients needs.

Get in touch and we can start planning your next event.
